Take Part in a Groundbreaking Category Management Study
DEERFIELD and CHICAGO, Ill. — Stagnito Business Information + Edgell Communications, parent company of Convenience Store News, is partnering with the Center for Sales Leadership at DePaul University and the Category Management Association to conduct a groundbreaking study on collaboration in category management (CM).
The goal of this research is to develop a detailed, empirically validated Category Management Collaboration Model to help improve CM partnerships. The model will allow CM professionals to identify the drivers of — and obstacles to — category management collaboration, and guide efforts toward creating and sustaining the most effective and profitable CM partnerships.
The survey is open to all sides of category management, including retailers, manufacturers/suppliers, wholesalers/distributors and third-party category management participants (i.e., consultants, data suppliers, etc.). If you are involved in any aspect of category management at your company, you are invited to join this study.
The survey will only require approximately 10 minutes of your time and will provide you and other category management practitioners with invaluable and actionable information
As thanks for your participation, all respondents will be sent an exclusive report on the study findings, entitled "Successful Collaboration in Category Management: Drivers and Barriers.” In addition, all respondents will be entered into a drawing to receive one of five Apple Watches.
A report on the findings will also be presented at the Spring 2016 Sales Leadership Conference at DePaul University in Chicago and made available on the Category Management Association website. Results will be featured, too, in Convenience Store News and other Stagnito +Edgell publications including Progressive Grocer, Retail Leader and Store Brands.
