Tom Thumb C-Stores to Stock DNA
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Approximately 126 Tom Thumb c-stores in Florida and Alabama will soon carry the DNA Energy Drink, according to DNA Beverage Corp.
The deal was made possible, in part, by the company's partnership with Florida Beverage Sales that will distribute the products from its Jacksonville warehouse. "Our commitment to growing our brand is based on the strategy used with overwhelming success by Red Bull and Monster energy drinks, and has rarely been seen since," John Duva, vice president of DNA Beverage Corp., said in a released statement.
Before joining DNA, Duva former head of operations for Red Bull and regional manager of Hansen's Energy, Monster's parent company. The company's marketing initiatives are aimed at the action sports community as it sponsors teams in motocross, surf, wakeboard and skateboarding, Duva noted.
"On the retail side, the overwhelming support we provide our distributors and retailers in the form of point-of-sale materials, crew drives and consumer education is second to none," Duva said in a released statement. "The addition of Tom Thumb to our existing Gulf Coast business rounds out this important territory and allows us to benefit from the economy of scale in our crew drive and sampling programs."
