United Supermarkets Opens High-End C-Store

FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas-Fort Worth area welcomed a new store last week called A Taste of Market Street, a high-end convenience store and fuel station with drive-thru accommodations.

"United Supermarkets used its imagination with our Dallas-Fort Worth area Market Street stores to bring the best shopping experience to our guests," United Supermarkets CEO Dan Sanders said in a released statement. "We know it can be difficult for individuals to make trips to the grocery store. With our newest Frisco convenience, A Taste of Market Street guests can get a full tank of gas and stock up on groceries in about five minutes. A Taste of Market Street is a testament that we’re thinking outside the box—and the store."

In celebration of the grand opening, A Taste of Market Street Frisco is offering a "Free Fuel" promotion to its guests starting Friday, Sept. 5, and ending Nov. 1. For every $25 a guest spends in the Frisco store, customers will receive 10 cents off per gallon at its fuel station.

"With high gas prices taking a toll on our pocketbooks, we wanted to give Market Street guests a little relief at the pump," Sanders said in a statement. "There’s not a lot of ways you can put a smile on someone’s face while they are paying anywhere from $50 to $100 to fill up the tank. At Market Street Frisco, we want that smile our guests received from inside the store to continue over to the fuel station at A Taste of Market Street."
