XYIENCE Brings UFC Fighter to QuikTrip Stores in Atlanta

LAS VEGAS -- Ultimate Fighting Championship and XYIENCE team athlete Anthony "Showtime" Pettis will visit three QuikTrip convenience stores in the Atlanta area this weekend. He will also make an appearance at the Mall of Georgia. His schedule includes:

• Friday, April 20
• 1 - 2 p.m. QuikTrip, 5474 Buford Hwy. NE, Buford
• 3 - 4 p.m. QuikTrip, 7390 Jonesboro Road, Morrow
   
• Saturday, April 21
• 11 a.m. - noon QuikTrip, 3995 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, Suwannee
• 2 - 3 p.m. GNC Mall of Georgia (3333 Buford Dr.), Buford

The weekend tour coincides with the "UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans" fight scheduled to take place on April 21 at Atlanta's Phillips Arena. XYIENCE team athlete Jon "Bones" Jones (15-1), the current UFC light heavyweight champion, will defend his title against Rashad Evans in the main event. Additionally, XYIENCE athlete Mark "The Machine" Hominick (20-10) will fight Eddie Yagin in a featherweight bout.

XYIENCE will offer samples of its Xenergy energy drink at Pettis' appearance. Organizers anticipate a large turnout for Pettis, who recently defeated Joe Lauzon by a knockout in the first round at his Feb. 25 "UFC 144: Edgar vs. Henderson" fight, where he won Knockout of the Night honors.
