Askuity Inc.'s Bring-Your-Own-Data platform is intended for product manufacturers looking to make better use of shared retailer point-of-sale data. The solution allows vendors to upload the retailer data they currently receive -- in any format -- to the Askuity platform. Suppliers can then collaborate with their retailer partners to improve their joint business by tracking new product launches, measuring and directing promotional spending, reducing out-of-stocks and improving market insight, according to the company.
