Circle K Stays in Touch

PHOENIX -- Circle K, a retail subsidiary of ConocoPhillips Inc., is expanding its partnership with Info Touch Technologies Corp. to deploy 500 additional ZapLink SM public Internet kiosks at Circle K convenience stores in Phoenix, Tucson, Ariz. and Las Vegas.

The expansion of the ZapLink SM kiosk network will be phased in with the deployment of the next 100 terminals set to be completed by early 2003. This expansion signals a major achievement in the satisfaction of the success criteria following a one year field trial of 35 ZapLink SM kiosks at selected Circle K outlets in Phoenix, the companies said.

Through this initiative, convenience store customers will have access to a new and growing e-based product category delivered under the ZapLink SM brand in regional markets utilizing Info Touch's technology solutions for the convenience store industry. Info Touch generates revenues from the sale of machines in addition to a share of the revenues generated by various applications including:
* Bill payment.
* Interactive mapping and directions.
* Couponing.
* Public and private video and photo e-mail.
* General purpose Web and email access

Circle K is providing location services as well as marketing, logistics and program support for this deployment.
