New Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Varieties

Prairie City Bakery’s Ooey Gooey Butter Cake brand adds two new options to its line of decadent, two-layered cakes: Sea Salt Caramel and Chocolate Chip. Sea Salt Caramel boasts a sweet-and-salty flavor combination, while Chocolate Chip features a generous amount of real chocolate chips on a rich, fudgy base. The new varieties join Original, Lemon and Cinnamon. All Ooey Gooey Butter Cakes have two decadent layers: a bottom layer made of yellow cake, and a top layer consisting of a rich mix of cream cheese, sugar and egg. The cakes have a 45-day shelf life and come in attractive, compact packaging that makes them perfect for impulse sales, the company noted.
